After this, 72 were martyred on behalf of Hussain before hiding the day. In these 72, apart from Husain, his six-month-old son Ali Asgar, 18-year-old Ali Akbar, and his 7-year-old nephew Kasim (Hasan's son) were also included. Apart from these, his friends and relatives were also included in the martyrdom. Hussain's aim was to eradicate himself, but let Islam remain alive, which his grandfather brought with him.


Ali Asgar's martyrdom is told in a very painful way. When food was stopped to Hussain's family. And Yazid put the guard of the army on the river, so thirsty, very thirsty… from Hussain's camps (the tents that were deployed to stay in Karbala forest)! voices echoed. Hussain's six-month-old son Ali Asgar fainted due to this thirst. Because his mother's milk was also dry. Hurmala took over the command. A three-edged arrow came from the command and hit Ali Asgar's neck in Hussain's lap. What is the existence of a six-month-old baby? After being martyred, Yazid also got Hussein's neck cut off by a man named Shimr. It is said that the dagger with which the head of Imam Hussain parted with jism was the dagger dunk. And all this happened in front of his sister Zainab. When Shimr runs a dagger on his neck, Hussain's head is told in prostration, that is, in the condition of Namaz.


After Hussain's death, Ali's daughter Zainab handled the rest of the survivors, as among the men who were alive was Hussain's son Zainul Abedin. He was very ill. Yazid made everyone his prisoner and put him in jail. Muslims believe that Yazid persecuted Hussein to maintain his power. In their memory, Shia Muslims mourn and shed ashes in Moharram.
