Eid al-Adha 2020: The duty of sacrifice

Bakrid is one of the two Eid in the Islamic year. Eid-ul-Juha and E-ul-Fitr. Eid-ul-Firat is also called sweet Eid. It is celebrated by ending Ramadan.

1. Eid al-Adha means Bakrid is the main festival of Muslims.

2. On this day, the market of the Muslim-dominated area shines.

3. Buyers buy goats, new clothes, dates, and sevaiyan on Bakrid.

4. Offering sacrifice on Bakrid is considered holy. So everyone sacrifices on this day.

5. Five duties of Islam are considered, Haj is the last of them.

6. Eid-ul-Meenad-un-Nabi is another major festival, but the significance of Bakrid is different. It is also called Badi Eid. It is celebrated at the end of Hajj.

7. It is necessary for Muslims to perform Haj once in life. The festival of Eid-ul-Juha is celebrated in the joy of performing Hajj.

8. It is also a festival of sacrifice.

9. Sacrifice has great importance in Islam.

10. It has been said that you spend your most precious thing in the way of Allah. To spend in the way of the Allah means in the works of righteousness and goodness.
